Bab 77: Disabling the bomb

Vanessa drove straight to the apartment building where Nick lived, her phone chimed as her brother called her. Tonight, she was supposed to have a meal with her brother but here she was driving to a dilapidated, sad-looking building that seemed like it might fall any second. 

She parked outside his apartment building and strode towards the old gloomy ten-storey apartment complex. A curse escaped her lips when she saw that the security who was supposed to take care of the security of the people living in the apartment was sleeping with a newspaper covering his face. 

Amazing, if she hadn't come here then Nick would have blown up into smithereens and no one would have known how, there were no CCTV cameras, no decent security guard and even she with a gun strapped on her waist could walk right through the building's gates without being stopped even once.
