Twin sisters Cedrica Mccoy and Torielle live with their mother. The thing is, Davea keeps kicking the two out of the house. This is dangerous, clearly.

The two are still in middle school. Sadly, they know the streets of Halifax, Canada, and people know them too well. Go to the coffee shop, that's Mr. Ingram's business. The lady that stays on Pearson Street? That's Ms. Curry. And never go down Pentland View because that's where Calvin Daniel and the Cotton twins stay.

If you didn't know Calvin, Rahil, Shelley. They stay on the block and never seem to be in the house. The day Davea decides to kick out the girls. The home is racked with vials filled with yellow liquid, blood on the walls, a ransom note, and a diary signed by their father.

Cedrica approaches the step, the front door is gone, leaving the house open. On the porch is a suitcase with their name on it.
