Bab 190: I still hear your voice.

Charis stood outside a wooden gate with plants wound around it, reminding her of the fairytales she read as a child. She saw no use for the gate than decorations because not only was it a soft shove away from collapse it was very short. She could stretch her leg over and reach the inside. On the other hand, the house sat farther from the fence, and unlike most houses, the surroundings were filled with plantations and grasses in the neighborhood. So this was how the old lady lived. Stretching her leg over the gate was what she finally did to get it, she was holding a basket of fruit as her other hand reached out to ring the doorbell.

"Oh, it's you! I didn't expect you to come back so soon." 

Charis smiled softly, looking at her feet, "I am sorry if I am disturbing you but-"

"Oh pish posh!" the older woman dismissed it, "I was getting bored of tv, come in your presence is always welcome."
