The Forefather of power: Celestial Energy
Celestial Energy, also known as Cosmic Energy, is the origin of all things. It predates not only matter but even the blackness of space itself. In the time before existence, referred to as "the Emptiness," this invisible energy flooded the void. It was the first and only force, omnipresent and incomprehensibly vast. Over time, Celestial Energy began to condense, forming the first atom. This marked the beginning of creation. Slowly, more atoms appeared, and the foundation of the first universes was laid.
All things in existence owe their being to Celestial Energy. However, it is not a benign force. Celestial Energy is incomparably powerful and deadly, a volatile source that many beings have sought to manipulate. Only a few ancient races possess the innate ability to wield this energy naturally earning them the name The First.
Aethernal Energy
Aether, or Aetherial Energy, emerged as Celestial Energy ceased creating life directly. Aetherial Energy is a biological power, inherent in the cells of living creatures. It manifests in diverse and extraordinary ways, from physical enhancements to supernatural abilities. For example, a rabbit infused with Aether might outrun the speed of sound, while a Qoverth could reshape the earth with its mind.
The origin of Aetherial Energy lies in the advent of Aether Cells, specialized cells that appeared in early life forms. These cells initially provided basic physical enhancements, such as strength or speed. Over countless generations, evolution expanded their capabilities, allowing for astonishing powers like telekinesis, mind-reading, and other extraordinary abilities.
Aether is the most widespread form of power and can be found in countless species across the universe. Unlike Celestial Energy, which is limited to The First, Aetherial Energy is inherently tied to biology, making it accessible to nearly all living beings in some capacity. It is the energy of life and evolution, a force that defines the strength and diversity of species.
The Third Power: Arcane Energy
After the era of Celestial Energy, a fragmented and diluted form of power emerged—Arcane Energy. Unlike its predecessor, which was a pure and omnipotent force, Arcane Energy is chaotic, abundant, and accessible. It permeates the universe, saturating everything from the smallest particles to the largest planets. While it lacks the destructive capacity of Celestial Energy, it offers immense versatility and has become the foundation for magic across civilizations.
I'll give more descriptions of them when more chapters are introduced but since some were introduced late on, this is kinda like a spoiler be it's fine to read at any point
