Bab 13: Caught in the act

The defect of people who think they are smart is that they think that no one is smarter. That was always my flaw, I didn't expect Sandra to follow me. In fact, I didn't even know she was suspicious of me. I always lived this way, I went out with men, I had sex and I never had to worry about my wife, because she never suspected that I might have a mistress, much less a lover. As Sandra found out that I would be going to the hotel, she left work straight for my meeting with the mystery man, who I now know is Tiago.

I didn't remember that Sandra and Bete were good friends. And she was the friend Sandra turned to when something wasn't going as well as she'd hoped. They were confidants. Which was very valuable to my wife at that moment, because even though she was afraid, Bete gave her friend all the necessary information about me, her boss. And as much as she didn't believe I had a lover, she did everything she could to make Sandra follow my every step.
