Again Veronica belittled Ellena, accusing her of something Ellena had never done at all.

"I swear, I never did that, Mommy. I've never slept with any man beside Lucas." Ellena was still trying hard to refute Veronica's accusations thrown at her.

"How much money do you need?"

Veronica's striking question left Ellena dumbfounded. It really wasn't the money he wanted right now. She just wanted Lucas to get well and help clear up all these misunderstandings.
