Bab 150: Bovalian Pride

"Why won't you simply give us the name of the Demon?"

"Because that demon is one of my units. As the Platoon Leader, they are under my protection."

Probably because Ace stood his ground without faltering, the fish folk got annoyed and got closer to him. Probably to try to intimidate him.

"I don't know what's up with you Bovalians, but if you're here, you need to respect us locals."

"I have no problems with that. However, any form of threat will be taken as hostility and we will comply accordingly."

Because Ace never showed a hint of hesitation and remained unshaken, this Fish Folk got visibly agitated and grabbed Ace by the shoulder.

But instead of startling Ace, the other way around happened.

"W-what's happening to me?"

"You should've known what it means to touch a Magic Knight."

Unsurprisingly, the Fish Folk drops on one knee with his whole body going weak flimsy. He was so shocked that his body isn't responding properly.
