Bab 129: Thanksgiving

"They have Oreo cannolis here," Claire told him once they were inside. "I prefer the mint chocolate chip ones myself. And I'm only allowed to get one today because I'm unemployed. You can buy yourself however many you want."

Alex nodded seriously. He ended up getting three Oreo cannolis as opposed to her one mint chip one. 

"What do you think?" she asked eagerly as they ate and walked back to the nearest station. 

"Delicious. I like the cream filling too."

"I thought you might. I come here for a cannoli pretty much every time I'm in Boston. It's nice being close to the big city but I'm so glad I don't live here and have to deal with the traffic or subway every day." 

"That makes sense," Alex said. "I didn't spend much time outside of headquarters but traveling through Boston on the way to other places was always very noisy."
