Bab 384: I Consider Us Even

Three shouted back at Cody, more agitated than before. "You don't know what it was like for me!" 

"I never said things weren't hard for you. But you're making them hard for everyone else now. Go find a life of your own and leave us out of it; we aren't affiliated with you anymore," he said calmly despite his furious expression. 

Claire stood there awkwardly behind him feeling like she might collapse under the weight of the tension in the warehouse. Alex was still standing near their fallen friends in a tense stance, looking like he wasn't sure whether or not to attack Three or go back to his wife. 

They were currently at a stalemate because Three hadn't responded to the ultimatum yet and Alex wasn't the type to strike first. He was more cautious than that but he also liked giving people a chance.
