Bab 196: Act Natural

Claire received a text from Alex right as she was getting off of work. 'FBI watching the house. Act natural'

She didn't have the emotional capacity to deal with this right now. Not when she anticipated being bombarded with questions again the second she got home. Work had been uneventful but she was still tired from being on her feet all day. She had gotten out of practice during her brief period of unemployment. 

Act natural? How was she supposed to act natural when she knew she was being watched? That was what she thought but it wasn't so bad. She drove right past them and into her garage as usual, shutting the door behind her before opening the one that led into the house so they wouldn't be able to see anything inside. 

"I'm home," Claire said dully. 

She looked up when no one responded to her and noticed that everyone here was engrossed in what was on the screen of their own laptops. These guys had been busy today.
