Time passed slowly and night descended.

The peace of the forest at night was occasionally broken by the roars of beasts.

The abyssal was extremely vigilant. Whenever a beast came close, he would dodge it. He had wasted too much energy during the day, so he didn't want to fight at night.

Just like that, the night passed and sunlight pierced through the densely packed pale leaves of trees.

The abyssal never stopped walking even for ten minutes. He killed many beasts along the way and finally reached a lake deep in the forest half a day later.

Emrys's pupils constricted when he saw the location from afar. His eyes lit up as he gasped in astonishment. He could see thick fog enveloping a huge lake in the depths of the forest. The fog wasn't simple, it appeared to be the result of the high density of energy present in the lake.

As for whether it was Cosmic Energy or some other energy, Emrys was unable to tell.
