Bab 14: Academy II
The classroom buzzed with chatter as Iruka prepared to give a lecture on ninja tools. Sasuke, however, remained in his corner, focused on his covert training. Beneath his clothing, two leaves were stuck to his body, a simple yet challenging exercise that required him to maintain focus to prevent them from falling. With each breath, he felt his chakra flow, adjusting to his control while performing hand seals in a steady rhythm.
"Everyone, pay attention!" Iruka called out, quickly gaining the students' focus. "Today, we'll be discussing the importance of learning how to properly use ninja tools. Mastery of these tools is essential for survival in combat and successfully completing missions."
While Iruka continued his explanation, Sasuke took advantage of the general distraction to practice his hand seals, moving his fingers with precision. He was determined to master his chakra control, and in his mind, he visualized the Katon - Goukakyuu no Jutsu as a way to apply what he was learning.
"Every shuriken you throw can mean the difference between life and death on a mission," Iruka went on, emphasizing the gravity of the situation. "It's vital that you practice frequently to become proficient."
The students were attentive, but Sasuke's mind remained elsewhere. He focused on the leaves stuck to his body, feeling the chakra in every part of his being. The exercise was a test of control and patience, a skill he knew would be useful when he became a ninja.
After an hour of theoretical lessons, Iruka announced:
"Now, we'll move on to practical training! Get ready for shuriken throwing practice!"
The students stood up in a rush, excited at the prospect of practicing. Sasuke, however, showed no emotion. He knew he had already mastered this skill, but he still blended in with the crowd as they followed Iruka to the training field.
Upon arrival, Iruka began distributing shuriken and explaining the proper throwing techniques. Sasuke positioned himself, observing the other students who seemed eager, especially Naruto, who was trying to impress everyone with his antics and energetic shouts.
"Watch how I throw this!" Naruto exclaimed, his eyes gleaming. "Get ready to see the best!"
Sasuke couldn't help but internally sigh at the scene. While Naruto prepared himself, Sasuke focused on his own technique. In his mind, he reviewed the precision and control needed for the throw.
Iruka, noticing the excitement, began counting down:
"Now, on my signal, I want everyone to throw their shuriken toward the target!"
Sasuke positioned himself, focusing his chakra, his thoughts clear and calm. At Iruka's signal, he released the shuriken with near-perfect precision, hitting the center of the target. He wasn't surprised by the result, but felt an internal satisfaction.
While the other students were still learning, Sasuke took the opportunity to work on his chakra control. He kept in mind that, even while practicing throwing techniques, he could perfect his skill with the leaves attached to him.
Iruka walked among the students, giving feedback and encouraging everyone to improve. When he approached Sasuke, he gave an approving look.
"Very well done, Sasuke! Your throw is excellent. You've been working hard, haven't you?"
Sasuke simply nodded, keeping his serious expression.
"Remember, constant practice is key," Iruka continued, unaware of the true reason behind
