Bab 90: King Max? part 1
Peter Seningen, the head guard looked at the bodies thrown around the academy. The sight was horrifying. There were corpses of nobles cut in half, peaces of limbs thrown around and burned corpses, even skeletons with no skin around. Peter could not understand how such small amount of people could kill thousands. It was not funny at all. After a short amount of thinking Peter knelt and said: "Your majesty, I hear to your command! Guards, seal the city. If you see nobles with the same ornaments you see on those nobles clothes kill them. Do not take any prisoners."
The guards heaved a sigh of relieve. They did not want to die. Even if not all of them would die and they will win somehow it will still be a horrible battle. It will be a massacre. They all said: "Sir, yes sir!" and ran away.
In the next few hours Max teleported around and killed those noble and their families. There was so much killing he already lost count. Men, women, children. He did not spare anyone. It was not fun or pretty, but if he would choose to between them and himself he will choose himself all day every day of the week.
Soon, the killing had stopped. The capital was in turmoil because people did not know what was going on. There was even unrest on some of the streets of the capital. When Max saw this he knew he needed to do something. He amplified his voice with knight energy and magic power and shouted around the capital: "My name is Mad Max. As some of you know I started teaching at the academy and gave the commoners a chance to study. Because of that the king and the nobles ambushed and tried to kill me, but they failed. I killed the king and the noble families that tried to kill me. By the rules of the empire I will become the next king. There is no outside invasion into the city. Everything will be fine. I can tell that I will work hard for all people. Cultivation techniques that are up to the third knight apprentice level will be released for every citizen of the country. Continue with your daily life. I will present you all of the positive changes that will happen to the country soon. As for the nobles. All of the nobles of the capital should come to the palace and give allegiance to me. The ones that will revolt will have the same faith like all the other nobles that tried to kill me."
After that the city went into an uproar. The commoners literately danced on the streets. Max's declaration that all of them will get a cultivation technique up to the third apprentice level was like a dream come true. Max was like an angel. For most of the commoners it was more than enough to make them worship him. As for the nobles. They had different expressions, but most of them went to the palace. Max also arrived there. There were a lot of corpses of the royal noble family all around the palace. Max stood at the entrance to the palace. He used a magic spell that if the person will vow something he will have to keep his word. If he violate it there will be a huge backlash. The person will become a vegetable in the best case and will die at worst.
After that explanation the nobles vowed that they will not go against Max and follow his command. The same happened to the guard captain and the army commanders. After that Max sent some of the high ranked army members for nobles from the different cities to sign a magic pact with the same meaning. Max could not be everywhere so he learned another spell from the system that will create magic contracts that will take the same effect if nobles or other powerhouses will use them.
When all of this happened Max moved to the palace. The palace got cleaned while he was moving the gaming club towards it. He quickly got into the treasury and found huge amount of gold coins and magic crystals. He also collected the treasuries of the other noble families that attacked him here and the amount was shocking. Max quickly increased the size of the gaming club. He knew that a lot of trouble were incoming and he needed to act quickly. The gaming club increased by a lot. The amount of capsules that were allowed to be made increased from a hundred to a thousand. It was enough for now. Max did not even think twice and took 90 capsules for mages and 860 capsules for knights. It made the amount of capsules a thousand with 900 knight capsules and 100 mage capsules. Max used the treasury funds and it took a noticeable chunk of the resources from the treasury but it was worth it.
Max was sure that this was going to hit the fan and he would need to keep the country afloat and it won't be easy. This time he could not fight alone. The enemy was ready. He needed a force he could trust and that what he was going to create.
Max called all the military higher ups to discuss what will be happening next. He needed an estimation on what was the situation and how he could increase the chances of the country to not fall apart.
Only the higher ups of the country that vowed allegiance to Max stayed. There was one top representative of the army and the guards captain of the city. Peter Seningen, the guard captain was someone that Max knew but the new face was unfamiliar.
Max said: "Can you please introduce yourself?"
The man stood up and said while giving a salute: "I am general Alisher Heris. I am the commander of the army that is situated in the capital and the one that stand higher than the officers in other cities of the country and only below the king. For now I know that own two neighbors took action and took control over all of the other cities of the country by now and are heading towards the capital. It is a matter of around a week until they will be here. There is a need to prepare for a siege of the capital. We need to prepare for a bloody war!"
Alisher was old but had the stature of an army person. He was of average build, but he stood straight and had a tough outer appearance. He had a bald head and a pretty long beard and green piercing eyes. He looked like a mini viking.
Max looked at his stats and was not surprised. He looked at the stats of the person:
'Name: Alisher. Age:60. Level one knight. There is talent for knight training and no talent for magic training. '
Max nodded and said: "It is not a problem. We need to do two things. The first thing is to call for all the citizens to the big squares today and let me pick all people with mage talents. The second thing is to let you decide on mages and knights that you want to nurture to a level of a knight. You have 900 people you can select. Select more of those people. I will check them all to see who has the higher talent and we will push them to the peak of their powers at those few days. I believe most of them could reach the level of a knight with my help. In that way we will have an army of 900 knights and 100 mage apprentices. It will be sufficient to achieve a victory in the fight for the capital. What do you think? How much knight level people we have right now? How much mage apprentices? How much high and low leveled knight apprentices?"
The duo looked at Max with a questioning gaze but still answered. The first one was Alisher. He stood up, saluted and said: "We have forty thousand people at the army forces of the capital. Because there is no contact with the forces of the other regions I will talk only about the soldiers we have at capital. From those forces we have 5 mage apprentices of which two are fire mages, two are earth and one wind mage. We have 7 knights including me. Around one hundred high leveled knight apprentices and ten thousand low level knight apprentices. All others are people with no life energy."
Max sighed. He did not expect much from those people but it was sad. He knew that it were the army forces of the capital only, but it was still lame.
Max looked at Peter with a questioning gaze and Peter said: "As the guards of the city there is no need for such big power like the army. There are no mage apprentices and there are three knights including me, around 70 high leveled knight apprentices and five thousand knight apprentices and around fifteen more thousand guards with no life energy."
Max was alright with this. It was logical for a level one country to not have high power level. Max had a simple plan. Create 100 mage apprentices and 900 knights loyal to him in a week with the help of the system and alchemical products that he made so far and kick the shit out of the invaders that will come to siege the capital. After that was the creation of a communistic country with the slogan of the strongest person for the position will have it no matter what will be his origin. Max was thinking about a democracy first, but he soon got the point that people will not understand those principles. He will start from communism and then see where he could go from that point.
