Bab 37: Her Lavender Scent

When her intoxicating scent became milder, Magnus thought he would be able to compose himself.

He grabbed her delicate right wrist as he used to, but as the surface of his palm grazed her skin, it went numbed from some sort of electrical shock, albeit it wasn't from pain but rather from an inexplicable sensation.

Again, the familiar feeling of covetousness haunted him. This was getting out of hand.

Magnus ruffled his neatly combed hair in frustration. His short trimmed ebony tendrils became wildly tousled, a sense of unruliness in contrast to his refined image enveloped his form. One would feel a different aura radiating off him, the particular aura that would make women in awe. His red irises slightly narrowed as he turned around, leaving her in a fit of confusion. "Follow me to the study." He said and started walking on the pathway.
