Bab 56: It's An Order

"Haha! What a good joke, Master Valac."

Alric shot back as he tilted his head to catch a glimpse of Captain Cedric, who really wasn't present.

Did he give Captain Cedric orders to stay back? Is he crazy? Playing around at such a crucial time?

"No. Why would I joke? You all will run straight back to the camp, Nico and Zenith will be there with team two and four. Captain Cedric will take some time. He's gone to the Duchy to get backup."

Valac's words made everyone present there wonder if he had lost his mind again.

"Master Valac…" Alric sighed as if he no longer possessed the strength to deal with Valac's nonsense. "Please go back. We'll hold the stone golems. We cannot let the only son of Lady Darina die."

"I think you didn't hear what I said. You all are leaving. I'll be holding back the stone golems."
