But in the last two days, he chose to ride his stallion instead. Something else seemed off. His cousin was a little restless. If he didn't observe him close, he would have missed it. When he asked Han Xin what was on his mind, he would always give the same answer which was 'nothing'. 

He couldn't figure it out at first but soon he figured what it was. It was like Han Xin was waiting for Peng Xiu to show her face, and maybe then his unease would subside. His actions were quite subtle but today he was quite obvious. 

As the convoy moved steadily along the winding roads, his eyes frequently darted towards Peng Xiu's carriage, a flicker of suspicion in his otherwise stoic demeanour. Han Zhan couldn't help but smirk, understanding that despite his cousin's outward indifference, there was a part of him that drew him to Peng Xiu.
