Bab 68: Difficult Position

Wendy inhaled slightly, sucking her tummy in. However, this was not good for the child. After a while, she let her abdomen go back to its normal shape instead of deliberately hiding it.

Seeing this, Daisy dug out an elastic waistband and said, "You can remove your gown and put this on first, and I guarantee you that nobody will be able to see your belly."

Instead of taking off the dress as suggested, Wendy hesitated for a moment. She was ultimately unwilling to let her child suffer just so she could look beautiful for one night. 

Shaking her head, she said, "it's fine, I'll just pay more attention. I'm not used to wearing that anyway."

Since Wendy had rejected her offer, Daisy did not pursue the matter. She turned around, picked up a pair of high heels, and said with a smile, "You can wear this pair of heels tonight, they go very well with your dress."
