"The first thing you should understand about Bufa City is that it will never be a place that is free of violence," Wu Ling said, as he began to explain the strange place he'd proposed to bring the group. "However, the days of random violence and bloodshed on the streets ended more than a thousand years ago." 

"Even the most bloodthirsty of outcasts won't linger in a place where they have to constantly watch for a knife in the back," Wu Ling said. "Moreover, while many of the goods for sale in the various markets have dubious origins, excessive murder is bad for business, and the merchants who have made the city their home have long since cried out for enough stability to do their business."
