Bab 276: Captured by Merchants

While both Su Xiang and Xiong Dahuo quickly stood to follow Wu Ling and Fang Lin, the slender man who had come to fetch them fixed the other members of the group in place with a single pointed look. 

"Only Understudy Hua and Initiate Fang are required," the slender man said pointedly. "As your group still has items in the auction, you should remain here to observe the results of the auction for yourself. Your token, however," he said, holding a hand out to Fang Lin. "Has been revoked. You may no longer bid on items in this auction."

"I won't let you harm my sister or my friend," Su Xaing said fiercely, wishing she'd been allowed to bring her sword into the auction. She understood why weapons were forbidden in this place. Flared tempers after a heated competitive exchange could easily lead to bloodshed.
