Bab 262: A Truce

Zero scowled and jumped back. He could hear his heart beating against his chest. He was gripping the handle of the shopping basket and he could feel his shortness of breath. His head was hurting but he could feel the adrenaline pumping right in. He gritted his teeth and he could feel his veins pulsing.

The man infront of him, on the other hand was calm. He looked at Zero and grimaced at his actions. He knew that kind of reaction was valid but he didn't like how he looks like right now; he would have enjoyed that if he wasn't in his sweatshirt and sweatpants. He shakes his head and grabbed the can of beef broth and threw it at him which Zero had caught effortlessly. 

"You need that more than I do..." He says.

"What are you doing here?!" Zero asks in disbelief.
