Bab 29: Last Resort

Dune stood on the roof of a nearby building, keeping watch. He was thinking about sacrificing himself for his friends…On one hand, he yearned to be the hero, willing to give up everything for the sake of his friends.

The thought of making the ultimate sacrifice filled him with a sense of purpose. But deep down, there was a stronger voice within him, urging him to choose life.

He couldn't help but feel a wave of frustration wash over him. Why did he have these conflicting desires? Wanting to be the hero and wanting to live seemed contradictory and foolish to him.

It felt like a battle between what he thought he should do and what he truly wanted.

He questioned himself, wondering if it was wrong to prioritize his own well-being. Was it selfish to want to preserve his own life instead of sacrificing it for others? It all felt so complicated and overwhelming.
