Bab 74: You Seem Different

As Delilah and Sabrina walked towards the elevator, Delilah's eyes wandered, clearly searching for someone.

"If you are looking for Blake, he's out on an assignment. He's not in the office at the moment. And even if he is, you won't find him on this floor," Sabrina said with a knowing smile.

Delilah shook her head. "I wasn't looking for him."

"My bad," Sabrina replied with a chuckle as they stepped into the elevator together.

"You don't need to escort me all the way to my car," Delilah protested.

"I don't need to, but I want to," Sabrina said with a smile.

As they exited the building, Delilah's heart skipped a beat when she saw Hunter getting out of one of his cars and throwing the key to the valet.

He froze when he noticed her, a slight startle in his eyes before he composed himself. What was she doing here? Was she here to see him or because she wanted to see Hunter? He mused.
