Bab 76: Money Problem

As Delilah went in to freshen up, she thought about Hunter and what he had said, and she tried to think of ways she could be of help to him.

When she was done freshening up, she went to the kitchen to fix dinner. Instead of making dinner for herself alone, she made some for Hunter too despite what he had said earlier about not wanting to have dinner.

Once she had set the table, she went to knock on his door, "Blake?" She called softly.

Hunter, who was lying on the bed and trying to sleep, opened his eyes when he heard her voice and he rose and went to see what she wanted.

"Dinner is ready. Let's eat," she said and Hunter frowned.

"I told you I wasn't hungry," he said and she nodded.
