Bab 95: Maybe. Maybe Not

As Delilah drove through the dimly lit streets, the address Hunter sent her on her phone guided her to a large, gated house.

The area was quiet, the kind of place that screamed money and privacy. Delilah slowed her car as she approached the house, her heart beating faster with each passing second. She pulled up to the curb, stopping just short of the gate.

She took a deep breath before picking up her phone and dialing Blake's number again. It rang twice before he answered.

"I'm outside," she said, trying to keep her voice calm, though her nerves were starting to get the better of her.

"I'll be right out," Hunter replied before the line went dead again.

Delilah tapped her feet impatiently and fidgeted with her hands as she waited, her eyes scanning the windows of the house. What exactly was she hoping to find? She wasn't sure, but there was an unsettling feeling gnawing at her, one that she couldn't quite shake.
