"I hope I can fulfill my promise to you," Sophia whispered, her words soft like a spell that almost drew Ragnar into memories.

Ragnar simply stared at Sophia, silent and unmoving. She waited for a response from him. But Ragnar chose to focus on finishing his dinner, hoping she would leave soon.

Sophia's heart sank in disappointment. Still, she was not ready to give up.

"I've provided several antidotes for Rastislav's mission tomorrow," Sophia reported.

Ragnar nodded. "Good initiative."

"Thank you, Your Majesty." Sophia nodded.

"I hope you show the same initiative regarding our relationship," Ragnar retorted.

"What do you mean, Your Majesty?" Sophia asked, confused.
