"I will pay 8 million yuan for it," said Yan Xiaojun looking coldly at the sales manager as if throwing cold shards of ice at him.

The sales manager gulped and said, "Sorry sir… this has been sold…"

"Call your owner, now!"

The sales manager meekly walked out of the counter and went inside a small office. A few minutes later the owner came to him.

"Sir we are extremely sorry, but the ring has already been sold. We cannot break the trust of our customer otherwise we may lose our franchise. It is not right ethically. However, if you want we can get a custom-made ring for you bearing the same design," explained the owner politely.

"How long will it take to complete the order?" he asked.

"About a month."

Yan Xiaojun became upset. He was in a hurry. He bought the ring that was earlier shown to him and exited from the shop.

The owner breathed a sigh of relief. The sales manager asked him, "Boss, who was our customer that bought the lotus ring?"
