It was just a regular day in the modern era before everything changed. Monsters that should only exist in myths came into existence one by one seemingly out of thin air. The terrain which was previously filled with man-made buildings became obsolete and replaced by ones made by nature.
It was the beginning of a new era. One of the survival of the fittest.
Humans previously at the top of the food chain are at the bottom now. In the midst of this chaos, one man stood at the side and simply observed. Join him on his journey as he explores this complex world.

Good start. I like it. There are no glaring issues in grammar or sentence structure, the plot is at a good pace that I like. Not too fast, not too slow. Apocalyptic themed novels like this usually start with a full blown disaster but this one kinda eases you into it, kinda like the one in Epoch of the Twilight. The characters aren't mindless and there are subtle a developments here and there although some characters aren't exactly consistent and I don't understand their personality. I'll be back to write more as the story progresses.
Author said there will be smut but no romance but I think he meant no true love as the MC and his woman do share romantic moments in romantic settings (like a picnic among magical flowers and then being naughty in front of the tree of life for example) while depending on each other to make their lives mutually happier. Actually that's way more love than many marriages seem to contain right there. Maybe author meant no girl chasing/buttering up as he just threw her over his shoulder and took her away? I just wish author's naming sense was a bit better as too silly names breaks reading immersion slightly for me.

This is your author, here to write a shameless review. This is my first novel and I opted to go with an apocalyptic theme. I know it's a very cliche of a theme but I thought I could put my own twists to it. I try my best to keep the story interesting and my release schedule the same at one chapter a day. this novel has a lot of potential and so far the author has managed to make a decent story with an interesting protagonist. at the beginning I had reservations with reading this novel since it was six months without any update and that made me think that the same thing can happen again. another thing that I thought was unnecessary was to leave two enemies alive, even if one of them is the brother, nothing changes the fact of what they wanted to do with him, if he had no power he would be dead or captured for an unknown end, the author gave the understand that in the future the two will have some role to play in the grand scheme, but nothing changes the fact that it is better to exterminate the weeds than to let it grow and perhaps cause some harm in the future.another thing that has yet to be seen is the fact that it has no tag: romance / harem. romance in this type of novel is something I don't care about because a passionate protagonist does stupid things and has a big personality change that is not beneficial for himself. the harem is something that matches the personality of the protagonist, perhaps having several women but never committing to having children or getting married.

Bro this story is good. It almost has the perfect ratio of sex:story. Unlike many other the R18 content does not drown out the story and vice versa, altogether I hope the author keeps it up. Oh and this plot is GREAT keep the creative juices flowing dawg!

I'm new to webnovels but I'm really liking this story so far. I'll talk about the two main things that i like the most. 1. the world the author writes the world in a way that's easy and entertaining to read. it's not a bunch of info dumps but a nice description of things we should pay attention to in each chapter. this is done by using imagery to describe the scenery of the world(apocalyptic w/magic? dontknow yet) 2. the mc the mc is given what is seemingly a really powerful ability(time related). he's pretty powerful but not too overpowered that he could fight boss level characters right away. his actions are also retarded and relatable for a lack of a better word. ie. thinking that eating a tree bark would be a good idea because eating stuff makes you more powerful
Out of the staggering amount of apocalypse novels that I have read this one definitely stands out, positively so. I love the mc and the side character's construction, the world building and etc, in all aspects this novel does pretty well. It's a shame that the author stopped uploading new chapters since 9 months ago. It's an underrated novel, I definitely recommend it.
A great novel in which there is a deep development of the plot and characters. It can be extremely thought-provoking and mysterious, making it difficult to stop reading. It works very well with emotions and feelings, not just being a generic fantasy novel.
Underrated novel. Calm and powerful mc, no cringe moments, story flows really well and there's a nice r-18 moments here and there.oh also the updates are pretty good like 2 or 3 chapters each day
