Luke's POV

This entire day has been dragging on. When it's finally time for lunch break, I can't wait to get out of the stifling class. But the thought of lunch also doesn't sit well with me. Linda wouldn't be there to make it fun. I find myself hanging at the door. 

If I don't go, I'll make my friends worried and they have too much on their plates to be worrying about me. So I'll just have to go and pretend to eat again. Linda made everything taste good. 

I walk towards the cafeteria and I look out to see my friends sitting sadly, trying to be happy but the worry in their eyes. 

I feel someone bump into me hard as they pass by me and I feel my temper flaring up. I look at the person to see that it's Federick Lucino.
