Bab 23: Chapter1.22

Stepping into the dimly lit house, Orion found himself surrounded by multiple witches; their eyes fixated on him with a mix of curiosity and wariness. Their presence, though noticeable, hardly registered in his mind. His focus remained steadfast, fixed upon a singular objective that led him further into the heart of the abode.

Orion climbed the old staircase, its creaks telling stories of the cottage's age. He reached the attic, a forgotten space untouched by time. Darkness filled the air, emphasizing the room's neglect. Cobwebs hung in the corners, and dust particles danced in the faint rays of light that managed to sneak in.

Unfazed by the disorder, Orion's eyes glowed with emerald light, using his magic to illuminate the attic. The verdant radiance chased away shadows; with clarity now, he carefully moved through the maze of spiderwebs and forgotten relics.

His heart skipped a beat in the chaos when he saw a glass coffin covered in dust and cobwebs. He approached it reverently, gently clearing the surface to reveal the slumbering form.

Freya Mikaelson lay before him, her features bathed in a soft glow that defied the passage of time. Her golden locks cascaded like molten sunlight, framing a face of unearthly beauty, its serenity undisturbed by the world outside. Orion was captivated by her presence, her allure transcending any portrayal seen on screens or in stories. She embodied an ethereal grace that resonated deep within.

As Orion gently lifted the glass lid of the coffin, a hushed sigh escaped his lips. Carefully, he cradled Freya Mikaelson's slumbering form in his arms, marveling at the weightlessness of her being. Stepping away from the glass coffin, Orion was immersed in profound intimacy.

Leaving the confines of the attic behind, Orion crossed the threshold, stepping into the cool embrace of the twilight.

Emerging from the cottage's threshold, Orion met with a stunned Amelia, her eyes widening in surprise as she beheld Freya's body cradled in his arms. A mix of astonishment and curiosity danced across her features as she sensed the magic wafting off Freya's body.

Orion met her gaze, a knowing smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Looks like I found what I was after," he said, his voice carrying a sense of triumph. "Thanks for opening the way, Amelia. Put up that spell you unraveled, shall we?"

Amelia, shaken from her initial surprise, nodded quickly, understanding the gravity of the situation. With a resolute expression, she began to chant in Creole, the melodic words slipping from her lips with a hint of ancient power. Once twisted to grant them entry, the dolls' heads shifted back into place, sealing the cottage from prying eyes once more.

Orion offered Amelia a grateful nod, his eyes reflecting determination and appreciation. "Thank you," he said, his tone sincere.

—------

Orion stepped into his home, the weight of Freya's slumbering body cradled gently in his arms. The scent of aged wood and ancient knowledge enveloped him as he traversed the threshold, entering a sanctuary steeped in mystic energies.

Carefully, he laid Freya on the plush couch, arranging soft cushions around her, creating a cocoon of comfort and tranquility. The flickering candlelight danced across the room, casting long shadows that seemed to whisper secrets of forgotten spells and hidden truths.

Guided by an unwavering purpose, Orion went to his study, a chamber adorned with shelves lined with weathered times.

Orion stepped into his home, the weight of Freya's slumbering body cradled gently in his arms. Gently, he laid Freya on the couch.

Positioning himself beside Freya's slumbering form, The room became charged with anticipation as if the walls whispered in anticipation of his invocation, with a voice resonant with reverence and determination.

"Ex vinculo solvo,

Viam aperio ad libertatem,

Libera,Separo Freyam a Dahlia."

As the words reverberated through the air, a subtle shift swept through the room as if the very fabric of reality responded to the power woven within Orion's incantation. The surroundings seemed to come alive, attuned to the spell's purpose.

Before Orion, a length of rope materialized, suspended in mid-air. It symbolized the bond and tie that connected Freya and Dahlia, an ethereal representation of their intertwined destinies. The yarn, previously bound tightly, now took on a life of its own as if sensing the impending liberation.

As Orion continued to channel his magic into the spell, the knot at the center of the rope began to stir. It squirmed and writhed, its form shifting and contorting with otherworldly energy. The knot seemed to carry the weight of centuries, a visual manifestation of the powerful bond between Freya and Dahlia.

With each verse of the magic, the knot rose higher, separating itself from the rest of the rope.

The room pulsated with subdued energy, the air charged with anticipation. Orion's focus remained unyielding as he poured his essence into the spell. The room seemed to hum with energy as he channeled the ancient power. His hands trembled slightly under the weight of this immense force, but he held firm, his determination unwavering.

His voice resonated with reverence and authority with each word he spoke. He knew the delicate balance required to navigate this spell, severing the bond without causing harm. The magic flowed from him with precision, as if some unseen force guided the words themselves.

And then, as if responding to his command, the rope that had symbolized the bond between Freya and Dahlia began to unknot itself. The magical energy surged, untangling the ties that had bound them together.

The connection dissolved like a fading mist while the intricate web of the spell safeguarded Freya's immortality,

—-----

Now that the bond between Freya and Dahlia had been severed, Orion could wake her without fear of rousing Dahlia from her slumber. With a mix of trepidation and determination, he gently positioned his hands on the temples of Freya's head, preparing to siphon the powerful spell cast upon her.

( if you're wondering why Orion Undid the spell instead of siphoning is because if he siphons it, Dahlia will sense it, and just because I didn't think about it, so yeah)

The magnitude of the task ahead was still on Orion. The spell had been in place for over a millennium, steadily growing in strength. It pulsed with ancient energy intertwined with Freya's very being. It was a delicate and intricate web that required careful handling.

Aware of the dangers of absorbing such potent magic directly into himself, Orion knew he needed a conduit to contain the overwhelming power that would flow through him. His eyes fell upon his talisman; It had been crafted for this very purpose, to act as a vessel, a receptacle for the excess energy he would extract.

Orion's talisman glimmered with anticipation, its silver filigree and embedded gemstones humming with readiness.

Bracing himself for the daunting task, Orion steadied his breathing and centered his focus. With a gentle touch, he connected with Freya's temples, feeling the tingling response of the ancient spell yielding to him.

Carefully, he began siphoning the spell, guiding the energy from Freya into his waiting palms. The power surged, carrying the weight of centuries and forgotten incantations.

To protect himself, Orion channeled the excess energy into his talisman. The artifact shimmered and glowed as it absorbed the potent magic, shielding him from its force.

The air crackled with energy, and the room seemed alive with power. Orion concentrated on balancing the siphoning process, ensuring he could safely handle the immense spell.

Time seemed to blur as the transfer continued, but Orion remained focused. Sweat beaded on his brow, a testament to the effort required to harness the unyielding power.

At long last, as the last remnants of the spell were siphoned away, Orion released his grip on Freya's temples. He exhaled, a collective sigh of relief resonating in the air. Freya stirred.

Orion's talisman shimmered with captured energy, fulfilling its role as a conduit, shielding him from the overwhelming magic.

Withdrawing his hands from Freya's temples, Orion felt a mix of exhaustion and triumph washing over him.

After a moment, Freya's eyelids fluttered open, gasping for air as she regained consciousness.

Freya's gaze fell upon the figure before her as her vision cleared. Before any recognition could take hold, a surge of power ignited within her, fueled by her newly awakened magic

With a flicker of fury in her eyes, Freya's hands instinctively rose, her palms pulsating with unleashed magic. Without hesitation, she directed her unleashed power toward Orion, who was caught off guard by her sudden assault.

A violent impact reverberated through the room as Orion was hurled backward, crashing against the unforgiving wall. The force of Freya's magic sent shards of plaster and dust spiraling through the air, echoing the raw power she now commanded.

Breathing heavily, Freya surveyed the aftermath of her uncontrolled outburst. Her senses tingled with exhilaration and confusion, her mind swirling with fragmented memories. Her gaze fell upon Orion, his body sprawled against the wall, a testament to the strength of her unleashed magic.

Freya's heart raced, her breaths shallow and rapid, as her mind tried to grasp the unfolding chaos. A mix of regret and uncertainty flooded her senses, the realization of her uncontrolled outburst dawning upon her. Her disoriented state left her vulnerable and volatile, and her magic was unchecked and unpredictable.

As the dust settled and silence filled the room, Freya's gaze fell upon Orion, sprawled against the wall. Her eyes widened with alarm and disbelief, her fragmented memories offering no answers. She trembled as she struggled to make sense of her existence.

"Where am I, and who are you?" Freya's voice quivered, the words barely escaping her trembling lips. Her eyes searched Orion's face for any semblance of familiarity, desperate for a lifeline in the confusion that threatened to engulf her.

She shook but resolutely; Orion slowly pushed himself off the wall, his gaze meeting Freya's with concern and determination. He recognized the disorientation in her eyes, the unsteady foundation upon which she now stood.

Who was better, Kathrine Or Elena?

_ I think Kathrine trumps Elena because she's a survivor who escaped Klaus for 500 years; not many could do that.

Also, the Love interest is still iffy, I'll wait till Rebekah gets on the scene and chooses, but for now, Freya is in the game.

The possibility of Bonnie becoming pregnant and having Klaus's child remains uncertain in the unfolding story. If she gets pregnant, her baby might take Hope's position in the narrative, or Hayley will end up having Hope. The decision is yet to be made, and I'll figure it out as the plot develops.
