Bab 19: MDR: Chapter 1
As Caspian, now inhabiting the body of Matt Donovan, gazed at his reflection in the mirror, he could hear a faint voice calling out to him. Vicki, his older sister, reminded him to get ready for school. The memories of their sibling bond washed over him, filling him with a mix of nostalgia and affection.
"Matt, come on, we'll be late for school!" Vicki's voice echoed from downstairs.
Still adjusting to his reborn identity, Caspian took a deep breath, reminding himself that he was now Matt Donovan. Determined, he got ready for the day, slipping into the familiar routine of this new life. As he went downstairs, he felt excitement and apprehension about facing the world like Matt.
Vicki greeted him with a smile as he entered the kitchen. "Finally, little bro decides to join the land of the living," she teased, ruffling his hair playfully.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm up now," Caspian replied with a grin, allowing himself to slip into the role of Matt Donovan. The memories of their sibling banter came flooding back, and he couldn't help but feel a genuine fondness for his sister.
They chatted over breakfast, reminiscing about old times and catching up on each other's lives. Caspian found himself drawn to the warmth of their relationship, grateful for the chance to experience the bond of siblings once more.
As they finished breakfast, Vicki reminded Matt about the school bus. "Come on, Matt, hurry, or we'll miss the bus."
"Yeah, you're right," Caspian replied, grabbing his backpack and following Vicki out the door.
They found a seat together on the bus, continuing their lighthearted conversation. Caspian observed the interactions of the other students, noting the familiar faces and trying to blend in as Matt Donovan. Though the memories of his previous life still lingered, he focused on embracing this new existence, fully immersing himself in the life of Matt.

The school environment was an entirely new experience for Caspian, having spent much of his previous life being schooled in the confines of a hospital. Stepping into the classroom now felt surreal, like entering a world he had only known from afar. He took a deep breath, trying to calm the excitement and nervousness coursing him.
As he looked around the classroom, he noticed it was already filled with students, each absorbed in their conversations and activities. Caspian's eyes fell upon a girl with beautiful dark skin, and he couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance she bore to Kat Graham, the actress who portrayed Bonnie Bennett, the future "Fixit" witch of Mystic Falls. He had a hunch that this girl must be Bonnie Bennett herself,
With a touch of uncertainty, Caspian approached the empty seat beside Bonnie. He smiled warmly as he introduced himself, "Hi, I'm Matt Donovan."
Bonnie turned towards him, offering a friendly smile in return. "Nice to meet you, Matt. I'm Bonnie Bennett," she replied, her voice warm and welcoming.
