"You…" Brian was rendered speechless.

"What? Do you have a problem with my attitude?" Chris spared no chance for Brian to encounter.

"Chris, I'm here to talk with you. Can't you just calm down a bit? And I'm sorry for not wishing you a happy birthday yesterday. But I brought a present for you," Brian stated, taking out a box from his pocket. It had a black credit card inside it as he was aware how Chris returned two of such cards to Arthur in anger.

Chris yanked the box away and it fell to the floor. "Fuck off!" He yelled at his father.

Brian's was driven almost to madness by Chris's words, he was about to slap to bring in some sense in Chris when his wrist was held in the midst of his attempt.

Surprisingly, it was a maiden's hand that held it firm and yanked it away.
