Bab 33: If we grow close

Suzy pulled up the car in the driveway upon reaching Long Beach. She didn't want to go for a dress shopping without cheering up Chris' mood. So, she decided to take him to the beach to make him feel better. During the entire journey, she found Chris had his eyes closed and his head rested on the headrest of his seat. 

"Chris, let's go out," Suzy said. 

"Are we home?" Chris asked. 

"No," Suzy refused, which made him open his eyes. He looked outside and realized they were on a beach. 

"It's been a while since I came here, so I thought to come here with you," Suzy said. Chris didn't say anything and stepped out of the car after opening his seatbelt. 

Suzy stepped outside and securely locked the door, tucking the keys into her pocket before joining Chris. 

Chris observed the bustling crowd on the Boardwalk and remarked, "The Boardwalk is crowded."
