Bab 52: Drunk- Part 1

"What are you doing here? I've been looking for you everywhere," Chris exclaimed as he spotted Suzy in the backyard of the house, instead of the garden as expected.

She held a bottle of whiskey in her hand, and by the flushed cheeks, Chris could tell she was drunk.

He wondered where she had gotten the alcohol from.

"I'm counting the stars. You made me lose count," Suzy said and pointed her finger toward the sky again.

Chris stood in front of her, thus blocking her view of the sky.

"Get away," Suzy gestured with her hand when Chris snatched the bottle from her grasp. "I told you not to get drunk," he muttered disapprovingly.

"Hey, give it back to me," Suzy demanded.

"No, I won't. We're leaving," Chris asserted, firmly grasping her hand and pulling her upright.

"But I have to count the stars. I can do it, Chris," Suzy protested, her words slurring as she staggered while walking. —
