Bab 82: Did I just kill someone

Karina moved, lighting the candles in Leticia's room with a gentle touch. The soft flames danced, casting a warm, golden glow across the space. A calming but strange scent wafted through the air, filling Leticia's senses and easing her tension.

"Do you need anything else, Miss?" Karina asked dutifully

Leticia looked up from her book, a smile spreading across her face. The flickering candlelight highlighted her features, illuminating the gentle curves of her cheeks and the sparkle in her opal eyes. "No, Karina. I'm fine. You may go to bed now," Leticia replied, shaking her head. Her voice was warm and filled with genuine appreciation for Karina.

Karina nodded respectfully, "Goodnight, Miss Leticia," she said, her tone soft. "Sleep well." She paused, her gaze lingering on Leticia's peaceful expression before turning to depart.
