Bab 16: Ch 16: Fist fights and determinations ~~ New companion

Gray pressed forward with determination, throwing a flurry of punches that landed with satisfying thuds against the men. But amidst the chaos, one of them slipped through his defenses, landing a solid blow squarely on Gray's jaw. The impact sent him staggering back, his vision briefly blurred as he fought to regain his balance.

"Come on, you can do better than that!" one of the men jeered, his taunts echoing in Gray's ears. Shaking off the disorientation, Gray focused on his breathing, drawing on the adrenaline coursing through his veins. With a fierce resolve, he launched himself forward again, this time executing a jump kick that caught another attacker off guard, sending him sprawling to the ground.
