Bab 34: 34. A little more time

George walked out of Anna's room and closed the door behind him. George stood behind the door and threw his head back, causing his Adam's apple to be more attractive. 

George let out a soft sigh and shut his eyes closed, recalling Anna's remarks. She wasn't going to marry him. 

But why did it hurt? 

How many times did George have to tell himself that Anna can never be his? How was George going to even accept that Anna would never accept him? 

George didn't attend the party Jessica invited him to because he wanted to be no one but Anna. And thank God he didn't attend Jessica's party. If he had, what would have happened to Anna? 

George looked down at his legs because Niko came touching him. George smiled. "Yes, there's a reason for everything," he sighed again and shook his head.
