George found himself chuckling at Anna's words. The fact that he still didn't know what he did, astonished him. She just flared up like the Anna she was. And he just had to keep trying until she forgave him and let him know what he did.
Anna waited for George's response but she didn't receive anyone from him for more than a minute and it made her wonder if George had left.
'Has he gone?'
'Did he leave me again?'
''I despise him!'
Anna cried inwardly but that didn't stop her from wanting to satisfy her curiosity. "George?" She called his name with a low voice, hoping that he wouldn't hear her voice if he was fortunately still standing at the other side of the door.
"Anna, I'm here," George heard her voice and relieved her mind by answering her.
"Why didn't you say anything?!" Anna pouted, feeling a bit uncomfortable that she couldn't face him although if she was, she had to look up because he was taller.
