"I did not invite anyone." Esong defended himself immediately.

He had just managed to get back into his wife's good books and he planned to keep it that way.

He too was puzzled as to why they were all here suddenly.

"Don't mind us we are here to have fun separately." Her mother announced loudly making sure that Scarlet could hear her. "We brought our own food and drinks, we will not bother you at all."

They found different spots under different trees and set up chairs, tables and blankets, keeping a respectful distance between themselves and her.

"Mommy, hurry up." Justin whined.

He kept looking at the water slides inpatient, his entire body vibrating with excitement.

"Yes, yes, calm down my little munchkin." She pinched his puffed up cheeked.

"Wait for me, I am going to join you after speaking to my father." Esong lowered his head and said to her.
