Bab 31: Chapter 31
In the physiotherapy unit of the hospital, Kaveh was panting hard, clinging to the rails. His bedridden in the past year did a number on him. He looked at his atrophied and useless muscles. He had a long way to discharge from the hospital. On the bright side, his werewolf lineage would increase his chances of recovering in a short amount of time. Kaveh still wanted to continue, but his therapist disagreed.
"You may cause further injury if you stretch and overuse your weak muscles. What makes you so impatient?"
Kaveh glanced at her and thought, 'If you knew your life was in danger, you would be the same as me.'
Kaveh was in no mood to talk to his therapist. He sat in the wheelchair, exhausted.
' Why is not any news from Noah? Edwin is fine, right? I should give him a call.'
Kaveh was in deep thought as two shoes stepped into his view. He raised his eyes and found his nightmare just in front of him. He caught his breath while his face turned pale. The stimulation was so intense he passed out.
In the presidential suite, Noah observed Edwin and Radin chatting and smiling.
" Thank Godness. They are on good terms now. It was awkward to be in the middle of a fight between the two."
He got up to leave when he heard the sound of a telephone. He went through the room to look for Edwin's phone.
He hurriedly replied it not to interrupt the good atmosphere between the two. However, the news he received made him rush to the balcony.
"Edwin, I got a call from the hospital. They said Kaveh is out of hand again."
" What? Let's go, then. Hurry."
Dena said, panicked.
" Do you want to go dressed like that?"
Noah pointed it out doubtfully.
Dena lowered her eyes to find herself in an oversize shirt and trousers. She had forgotten about that.
"What am l supposed to do?"
"I know your size. I'll buy you something."
Radin took a look at what Edwin was wearing. 'Oh, those are mine!' He was pleased to see him like that. But the words of Noah poured cold water upon him.
"How do you know what size it is?" asked Radin suspiciously.
Noah put his hand over his neck, embarrassed. " I ruined his shirt before and brought one for him."
" Thank you, but please don't get one like last time! That was such a terrible thing!"
Dena grumbled about it.
Radin again found himself excluded from their interaction. He felt Edwin was much more comfortable with Noah than with him. He hated the fact that he was jealous of his brother.
He groaned and urged Noah to do the work. At least he gets to be alone with Edwin. Not that he had any evil intention towards him.
" Here, your phone was with us during this time."
Noah handed the phone and walked out of the room.
Dena stared at Radin, saying.
"Do you mind if I took a shower before going to the hospital?"
Radin, hearing that, pictured Edwin's body wet in a steaming bathroom.
"Hey, is everything okay? You got a nosebleed."
Dena handed him the tissues, concerned.
" It's nothing. Go ahead." Radin pushed him to the bathroom and shut the door.
"Ah! That was uncalled for!" Radin leaned on the door, disturbed.
Dena stood there astonished. ' What happened?'
She shrugged and began to undress.
' What do you think happened to Kaveh?'
Dena talked to her wolf.
' With his closeness to you and constant breakdown, I guess it is this scenario where Kaveh was reborn."
'Yes, there was such a thing in your memories. How did it end? '
' The fight between him and his mate destroyed half of the world. Wait, there was a time when his mate, Ryu, was reborn too. "
" What? I thought I was with a Golden finger! Why was each character in here rebirth or transmigrated?
' What do you mean?'
'Nothing. Do you know what happened to it?'
'We were dead without knowing!'
' I don't want to die again! Come on! Let's put our heads together!'
' I am not optimistic about it, though.'
A little later, Dena wore a bright green shirt and tight-fitting jeans. Noah was hiding behind his brother.
" Noah, do you have a bone to pick with me? Explain what is the meaning of this. You have such a terrible fashion sense!"
" I swear to god it wasn't my fault this time! Due to security, there are no shopping centres around here. I borrowed them from the hotel's owner!"
Dena still wanted to vent her anger on him. She chased Noah around the room.
"Wait, We could buy one on our way to a hospital."
Noah yelled, running away.
Radin's head hurt from their childish behaviour, "Edwin, Cool off. Everything you wear looks great on you."
Dena halted in her track, hearing Radin's complement. She shyly walked near him. " Really? Do you mean it?"
"Yeah, So hurry up to the hospital. By the way, Edwin, I can't go with you to the hospital due to certain circumstances. But if there's anything you need, let me know."
Dena nodded while glaring at Noah, who came close to them.
After the hustle and bustle of changing clothes and arriving at the hospital, Dena saw a tall boy with a punch prem black and blue hairstyle outside Kaveh's room.
'Oh, that's a second scenario. We're a goner! '
Dena told the wolf in her mind.
' So this is Ryu, the blue dragon. He looks like a brat! What is with his hair? Is he going through a rebellious phase? '
Dena criticised him in her head.
By her side, Noah was cursing his fucking luck.
'What's this guy doing here? Today is not my day! First a two-meter wolf, now this hooligan.'
Dena tried not to reveal her hostility towards Ryu.
"Hello, Are you looking for someone?"
"Hey, yeah, my friend is inside," replied Ryu naturally.
'Are you good at acting? Seriously, you don't know me?'
Dena thought to herself.
"Really? I can't remember Kaveh having a friend older than him."
Dena mocked him. 'Have you forgotten he's only fourteen? How could you have met Kaveh?'
"We were online friends."
" How old are you? Are you aware I can sue you for getting close to a miner?"
Dena didn't like this boy for his past deeds to Kaveh and itched to chase him away.
Edwin's rude behaviour made Noah stunned.
" Don't provoke this devil," Noah whispered to Edwin.
With every passing moment, she recalled what Kaveh went through because of this boy and became angry. Dena's scowl would have slain Ryu on the spot if looks could kill.
