It was also quite unfortunate that he happened to kill the syndicate who was supposed to kidnap Ashley. 'I didn't know the guy would be that weak, dying from a powerful slap… who does that?' Ren might have overestimated the syndicate, so when he was taken hostage by the syndicate after he was exposed, Ren slapped him with the back of his hand, hoping it would knock the syndicate back, giving him and the soldiers there enough time to grab him, but after feeling something wet on his hands, Ren turned to see an organic work of art that he had helped create staring back at him.
