What was she even doing?

In a brief time, Elvira had fallen in love with a wizard, lied and fled from her uncle, and given up everything to start a new life with her mortal enemy. 

Consequently, she had to decide whether to seal the gates of the underworld, thus forever ending the deity-follower bond between her kind and the evil rulers of hell.

Did she even want that?

The life of a witch or warlock revolved around worshipping deities for gifts and power.

Even if Lilith forgives her for loving their enemy, would she be willing to forgive her for taking away the only thing she cared about most? Power was everything to her. Not even her family mattered when it came to that.

If word ever got out about Elvira's treacherous acts, every witch would despise her and want her dead.
