“Not that gorgeous Ferrari?” Grant leaned against the door frame, careful to block the fact he’d shoved the business card between the frame and the locking mechanism. “Go—I’ll wait for you here.”

Channing turned and hustled back the way they’d come, typing into his phone as he went.

Grant spared a tiny moment to mentally thank Janet for her wicked skills before giving rein to the surging demands of his alpha side.

He opened the door wide.

In an instant, an intoxicating cloud of pheromones surrounded him. It filled his lungs. His brain. His heart. It was his omega summoning him.

Time to answer the call. 20

Trembling with anticipation, Grant took a step inside and scanned the room. No sign of Rafael. His alpha side howled. Had the little shit already rescued himself?

A soft groan sounded from the bathroom. His omega was here.

As a precaution, he dragged one of the straight-backed chairs to the hallway door and jammed it under the knob.
