When the demon prince had gone away, it was as if the women felt like something holding their necks were released. Even if there was no physical pressure on their bodies, the suffocating demonic magic actually had a considerable impact on the high-level hunters.

Gianna, in particular, was seemingly breathless as noises seemed to have been whispering on her ears the entire time Belphegor was around. She then bit her lip out of sight, keeping herself from trembling. She thought the demon princes couldn't do much to them if they wouldn't let their presences out.

It seemed like she was wrong.

Even if Noah behaved like he didn't know why Belphegor came to see him out in the open, the White Magi and the two other sisters knew exactly why he showed up. It was that Ethan's warning wasn't enough; Gianna was still trying to find a fault in Noah to get back at him for what happened.
