Bab 149: Thanksgiving Without a Turkey

She felt like something had snapped in her mind. Before she knew it, she had fallen asleep as she coiled up on the stone floor under her. Rosanna moved slowly to sit up and cleaned her hands against her dress first before rubbing her eyes. It's good that she had changed to a blue dress when they got back.

Rosanna didn't have to look around to remember where she was. Unlike that time she was left to sleep inside the barrel, she was conscious for most of the time right now. The mere feel of the stone floor was enough to remind her that her reality had not changed.

"The freak is awake…"

She heard the other children whispered among themselves. It was actually Morgan's voice that echoed… and what Rosanna ignored.
