Bab 299: Even if I End Up Dying

Up until now, the three familiars still wouldn't show up. Noah only got up from the couch and walked to the kitchen, only to see Rosanna watching the cookies bake from the window of the oven… with the two sloth demons copying her action. What's worse was that the two sloth demons were wearing aprons and had crayon marks on their faces. Ah, no, they had smileys drawn on their faces…?

"Twenty minutes is too long..."

"Too long… too long..."

Noah couldn't help but retreat back to the lounge, pretending that he didn't see what he just did. Rosanna was getting accustomed to seeing the sloth demons as they had to watch over her. She shouldn't be able to see them anymore, but Noah didn't want Rosanna to feel lonely so the two should appear even if they looked hideous. Somehow, they weren't as hideous with those smileys.

He went back to the couch and sat down. He turned the TV off and lied down on the couch. "Bored..."
