Bab 94: 94 Catching up
Ryan saw the siblings sitting at the table, already talking to each other. He went over and sat down with them to join the conversation.
"Heyy whats up, what are yall talking about." Ryan said with a smile.
"I was just telling my sister of how badly forgers be wanting me to help them. I became pretty popular, even a teacher had asked me for my help." Brian said, with a joyful expression.
"Why is that, you can't be the only fire mage that can heat up things." Ryan said skeptically.
"Im not, but apparently I'm better at it than most. You know I have a mutated core so my fire element is not normal. The reason I am so valued is because the way I heat things up. I don't make a fire to heat up the materials, I can just cover it in my aura for about a hour and it will melt."
"You would need to understand how to forge to realize how useful it really is. They even wanted me to train in artifact forging."
"Oh, I don't know much, but I did see someone forging before. They heated up this piece of metal and kept hitting it, than put it in the fire for a little than start hitting it again. They had kept doing that over and over again. But if they had your skill they wouldn't need to put it back in the fire, they could just keep hitting it and shaping the metal how they want." Ryan said.
"Yeah, and another reason why they always want my help is because I am good at refining materials. I can burn alot of the impurities out the metal and once my rank get higher i could burn out even more. I don't understand why but the way I heat things up without fire is better at removing the impurities compared to using a fire." Brian replied.
"I take it you made enough merit points for your course than."
"Yeah I did, and finished it. I'm still in the process of learning the gesticulate spell he gave me but I learned alot there too. I even learned a way to use my elements to kill a rank3 beast. How your progress been going this week."
"Good. I'm getting close to ranking up my mana core, and I'm in the process of making my own spell that will be used as my first imprinted spell."
"You really making your own spell? Good luck with that, don't mess it up. Once you imprint the spell, you can't undo it."
"Yeah I know, but I'm feeling pretty confident in it."
"I guess you have a decent chance in making a good spell since you did have enlightenment before."
"Yeah, I actually forgot that even happened to be honest. So Elizabeth did you ever enter the dungeon?" Ryan said.
"No." Elizabeth replied, in a indifferent tone.
(Sometimes I wonder why I even bother to try to talk to her. Will it kill her to say more.)
"Why is that, did you leave the team."
"I haven't officially left the team yet and they where planning on staying in the dungeon for about 2 weeks. I didn't want to stay that long since we was supposed to join that other group." Elizabeth said.
"Should I send a message to Adam to see if they still need people." Ryan said while looking at the siblings.
"Did yall want to join." Brian asked the 2 of them.
Elizabeth nodded her head and Ryan said yeah.
"Go ahead and ask them than." Brian said.
("Do yall still need team members, the three of us are willing to join.") Ryan said in the mental message to Adam.
They went back talking and having conversations about other experiences they had so far in the academy.
30 minutes later Adam responded.
("Yeah, yall can join, the team leader wanted to have a team meeting in a hour. Are yall free at that time?")
"Adam responded and said we can join. The team leader want to have a team meeting in a hour to, do yall want to go." Ryan said to the siblings.
"Sure." They both had agreed.
("We are free, where do we meet up at?")
("Let just meet up in front of the academy building that you take classes in. Than we will head to a table outside as a group.")
("We will be there in exactly an hour from now.")
("Alright.")
"We are meeting up with them in front of the academy building that we take our classes at in a hour." Ryan said to the siblings that just been staring at him the whole time he was talking to Adam.
"Alright that is fine with us. So where have you been, you never went back to sleep in the free living building. Did you get your own private room already." Brian asked ryan in a skeptical tone.
"No, I just be sleeping in a cultivation room, on my pile of clothes. I couldn't stand sleeping in that place, I like my privacy." Ryan replied.
"You pay for a Cultivating room just to sleep in, how much it cost." Brian asked.
"1 merit points an hour."
"That's to much merit points to waste. I occasionally go to the training room to practice for a hour or 2."
"Yeah I had realized that too, so I only sleep there or go there if I cant find somewhere quiet to train at. How much the training rooms cost?"
"It depends on the room you get, they got some very useful training equipment there. It just so expensive, so I get the cheapest room that cost 1 merit point.
"Oh, When are you challenging someone for there room, and make sure you send me a message so I can watch."
"Probably in another week or 2. I don't want to lose or I won't be able to challenge again for a whole month."
"What about you Elizabeth, did you challenged someone for there room yet." Ryan asked.
"No." Elizabeth replied.
Ryan just sighed and continued to talk to Brian until it was time for the team meeting.
