I sat at my desk thinking about Ethan. I should be focused during class, but him ignoring me completely for a full day and not climbing in my window last night was the final straw right now. How dare he leave me hanging and spiraling like that?

"Is there a question you're struggling with?" the physics teacher asked from the front of the room. I looked up and saw he was looking at me. Right, I was still in class. "Bring your book up here and show me," he sighed.

I got up with my book and stood behind the desk with the teacher. As I approached, I couldn't help but think, Why do the girls swoon over this guy? He looked so gross to me.

"What kind of people do you like?" I blurted out. Luckily, no one but the teacher heard that. "I'm sorry, I was just daydreaming."
