Previously, when the Grey Bone Wizard was searching for ways to advance to a Level 3 Wizard, Greybone Academy did not appoint a Vice President but let Wizard Dawson act as the leader, forming an academy committee to manage the entire Greybone Academy.

Although Wizard Dawson was higher in status than other committee members, in practice, this nominal leader was essentially just a member too, and at committee meetings, he could only cast one vote, just like the other Formal Wizards, having no qualitative distinction in terms of power.
