Bab 54: Chapter 54

“Someone put some money into this place,” I whispered in awe.

On the wall opposite of the stairwell was a line of whips, paddles, canes, and of course, crops. I winced when I saw a rather nasty-looking cat-o’-nine tail that resembled the traditional one, only this one had leather coming out of the braids. I did not care if it had feathers coming out of it. The nasty thing looked like it would hurt even to be tickled by it. I touched the handle of it cautiously as if it were going to spring off the wall and begin whipping me by itself. Despite the evil look of it, the beauty of the craftsmanship was impressive.

I stepped away from the wall of torture over to the wall of pleasure. If those weren’t the names of these walls, I swore I was going to suggest it to Lizzie.
