Bab 225: Metal Clan's Steel

"You are really pregnant, My Lord? And there are two confirmed babies?" Old Man Feren's loud voice caused the plates and the wooden cups to vibrate. His scruffy face, which is covered with a thick beard, was flashing with obvious disbelief as if someone told him that the sky had broken into two. 

They are presently having a meal with all the patriarchs and elders of the Metal Clan. But since Luis likes to keep their lunch casual, he initiated some pep talks to catch up with the others since it's been a while since he met these folks. That is the gateway that opened the topic of his pregnancy, and he didn't expect that the man who shouldn't be surprised about the news was the man who exaggeratedly raised his voice to a few octaves.

Luis can't understand why the older man acted like it was his first time to hear about his pregnancy because, in the first place, Feren was still in the Woodrill Plains when the unverified news of his pregnancy circulated.
